Description
PRO version of Hario Mini Mill, top of the range.
The grinder is compact, solid, and offers a wide grinding range for various brewing methods. Convenient for home use, as well as for travelling.
When it comes to grinding coffee, there is a difficult balance between cost and quality. But maybe you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to get into the specialty coffee movement. Maybe you’re fine with using a little elbow grease to get a decent cup of coffee.
With the Mini-Slim Pro, Hario has done it again, offering a budget-friendly hand grinder that will help you on your way to great tasting coffee. While the Pro has maintained the same shape, size, and ceramic burrs of the Mini-Slim Plus, there are a number of differences; the most obvious being the upgraded, cast aluminum handle and the body’s material switch from plastic to black-painted, stainless steel. These changes have resulted in a sturdier, more attractive hand grinder.
The grounds bottle, which can hold about 25-30 grams of coffee, attaches to the hopper via a bayonet mount, allowing an easier way to remove and pour your coffee into your brewer. The clear plastic lid with a silicone grip gives you a clear view of how much longer you have to grind without having to worry about the lid falling off. And with ability to grind for both pour over and immersion brewers, the stepped grind size adjustment mechanism is easy to use and easy to duplicate.
If you are coming from a blade grinder or pre-ground coffee, the Hario Mini-Slim Pro will open up a world of flavors and aromas in your morning cup of coffee.
PRO version features:
– Steel body.
– Sturdy, detachable hand with a hexagonal adapter.
– Transparent lid with a silicone grip.
– Easily detachable ground coffee container.
Burr
Ceramic burrs provide even and consistent grinding, are durable, and do not influence the flavour of coffee. You can set the grinder for the brewing method of your choice – whether you are an AeroPress user, or a Chemex fan. The grind size is adjusted with a knob under the bean container. It is quick and easy.
Capacity
The upper container holds up to 24 grams of coffee. This amount is enough for 1-2 people.
